Existing Thoroughfares
McCart Avenue is a four -lane undivided facility adjacent to Rosemary Ridge. North of Twinleaf Drive,
McCart Avenue dead ends. An extension of McCart Avenue from McPherson Boulevard to Twinleaf
Drive will be constructed as a two-lane, undivided roadway and is planned for August 2022. The
posted speed limit along McCart Avenue is 30 mph within the study area. To the north, McCart
Avenue ultimately provides access to the McPherson where the driver can turn westbound to
Chisholm Trail. To the south, McCart Avenue provides access to FM 1187. The City of Fort Worth
Master Thoroughfare Plan (MTP) identifies this section of McCart Avenue as an Existing
Neighborhood Connector and is built out to its ultimate configuration.
Mountain Meadow (Industrial) is currently a two-lane undivided local facility located west of McCart
Avenue and is currently not on the City's Master Thoroughfare Plan. East of McCart Avenue, the
City's MTP identifies a future four -lane Neighborhood Connector (NCO-L2-TO-TWLT-PO-BOP (110))
to connect into Crowley's Thoroughfare Plan. This roadway is proposed to be removed/modified from
the MTP and continue Mountain Meadow to the City limit and was approved by P&Z on May 11t"
