Six Development and Adopt Appropriation Ordinance
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Authorize execution of a Community Facilities Agreement with West River Homes Building, LLC, with city participation in the amount not to
exceed $166,736.00, for replacement of an existing 6-inch sewer main with an 8-inch sewer main and an existing 8-inch sewer main with a
new 8-inch sewer main, in south Fort Worth to serve the South Oak Grove Estates Section Six Development; and
2. Adopt the attached appropriation ordinance adjusting receipts and appropriations in the Water and Sewer Bond 2020A Fund by decreasing
receipts and appropriations in the Unspecified project (City Project No. UNSPEC) in the amount of $166,736.00 and increasing receipts
and appropriations in the CFA Bucket project (City Project No. P00001) by the same amount to fund the Community Facilities Agreement —
South Oak Grove Estates (City Project No. 102739).
DISCUSSION:
West River Homes Building, LLC (Developer) is constructing the South Oak Grove Estates section six residential subdivision development
located in south Fort Worth. The Water Department would like to cost participate to replace the existing 6-inch sewer main to meet our current
standards with an 8-inch sewer main in Anglewood Court, and the existing 8-inch sewer main with an 8-inch sewer main in Sandalwood Drive. Due
to the shallow depth, the City will contribute 100% to the construction of these two sewer lines. The South Oak Grove Estates project (City Project
No. 102739), Accela System Record IPRC20-0084.
This sewer project will be publicly bid. The City participation in the construction cost of the replacement of these sewer mains is estimated to be in
an amount not to exceed $166,736.00 as shown in the table below:
