AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY ORDINANCE NO. 15754 BY
DECREASING THE NUMBER OF LIMOUSINES WHICH ALAMO
LIMOUSINE LIMITED PARTNERSHIP IS AUTHORISED TO OPERATE
UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS, ALLEYS AND THOROUGHFARES OF
THE CITY FROM SEVEN (7} TO FIVE (5); PROVIDING THAT THE
FINDINGS AND RECITATIONS CONTAINED IN THE PREAMBLE ARE
TFiE FINDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL; PROVIDING 1=0R WRITTEN
ACCEPTANCE OF THIS ORDINANCE BY ALAMO LIMOUSINE
LIMITED PARTNERSHIP; MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUI1lIULATIVE
OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE4 AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on November 18, 2003, Alamo Limousine Limited Partnership was
granted the privilege to use the present and future streets, alleys and public
thoroughfares of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, in its business of providing public
limousine service within the City's municipal limits with seven (7) limousines beginning
November 25, 2003 and expiring November 24, 2008; and
WHEREAS, an February 9, 2006, correspondence was received Pram Alamo
Limousine Limi#ed Partnership requesting approval to reduce the number of limousines
the company is authorized to operate in Fort Worth from seven (7) to five (5) because of
the reduction in its fleet and the changes in the market; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend City Ordinance No. 15754 to
decrease the number of iimausines which Alamo Limousine Limited Partnership is
authorized to operate in the City of Fort Worth from seven (7} to five {5).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OR[3AINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TE~CAS:
SECTION 1.
That Ordinance No. 15754 of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, is hereby amended
by decreasing the number of limousines which Alamo Limousine Limited Partnership is
authorized to operate upon the public streets, aileys and thoroughfares of the City of
Fort Worth from seven (7") to five (5).
SECTION 2.
That the fndings and recitations contained in the preamble hereof are expressly
incorporated into and made a part of this ordinance as the findings of the City Council_
SECTION 3.
That within ten {10) days after adoption of this ordinance, Alamo limousine
Limited Partnership shall flewith -the City Secretary written acceptance of the terms and
provisions hereof. Such acceptance of and agreement to the provisions of this
ordinance shall foe evidenced by the signature of the authorized representative of Alamo
Limousine limited Partnership ors the final page of this ordinance.
SECTI®N 4.
That the provisions of this ordinance shall be and are hereby declared to be
cumulative of all provisions of the Cade of the City of Fors Worth, Texas {1986), as
amended, with respect to the regulation and operation of public limousine service within
the City's municipal limits, and, in the event of conflict between the provisions of this
ordinance and such Code, the provisions of the City Code shall govern and prevail.
SECTION 6.
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from the date of the written
acceptance referred to in Section 3 hereof.

Approve Amendment to Ordinance No. 15754 far Reduction in the Number of Limousines Alamo
Limousine Limited Partnership is Authorized to Operate on City Public Streets and Thoroughfares
RECOMMENDATION;
It is recommended that the City Council approve an amendment to City Ordinance Na. 15754 to reduce the
number of limousines that Alamo Limousine Limited Partnership is authorized to operate on streets, alleys
and thoroughfares of the city of Fort Worth from seven to five limousines.
DISCUSSION:
On November 18, 2003, (M&G G-14154) the City Council adopted City Ordinance No. 15754 authorizing
Alamo Limousine Limited Partnership to operate seven limousines an public streets, alleys and public
thoroughfares of the city of Fart Worth.
On February 9, 2006, a request was received from Alamo Limousine Limited Partnership to reduce the
number of limousines the Company is authorized to operate from seven to five. The Company has reduced
its fleet by two limousines and is focusing on the ability fo purchase upscale limousines as the market
dictates.
The reduction in the number of limousines will result in $400.00 less in grant of privilege fee revenue.
FISCAL INFORMATIONIGERTIFICATION;
The Finance Director certifies that the Municipal Court Department is responsible far the collection and
deposit of fees due to the City.
