AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A PORTION OF MOHAWK DRIVE AND ALL OF COOK DRIVE AND CONWAY DRIVE, SITUATED IN THE G.W. CROUCH SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 278, CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT RECORDED IN CABINET 388-Y, SLIDE 19 AND CORRECTED BY CABINET 388-5, SLIDE 10, OFFICIAL PUBLIC RECORDS, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY 87,772 SQUARE FEET OR 2.015 ACRES OF LAND; PROVIDING THAT THE CITY SHALL RETAIN ALL EXISTING UTILITIES EASEMENTS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That a portion of Mohawk Drive, a 30-foot right-of-way, and all of Cook Drive, a 60-foot right-of-way and Conway Drive, a 60-foot right-of-way, situated in the G.W. Crouch Survey, Abstract No. 278, City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, being a portion of a tract of land as described in deed to Cockrell Hill Partners, Inc., called Tract 3, as recorded in County Clerk's Instrument Number D217186577, Official Public Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and Conway Manor Addition, according to the plat thereof recorded in Cabinet 388-Y, Slide 19, Official Public Records, Tarrant County, Texas, corrected by Cabinet 388-5, Slide 10, Official Public Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and containing approximately 87,772 square feet or 2.015 acre of land more or less, and as more specifically described in Exhibits "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated and extinguished. That the easement to the land in the above -described vacated street right of way is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law. SECTION 3. All existing utility easement be shall be retained by the City until such time all utilities located in that easement are relocated at the owner's expense. SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption.
