Restoration Contract 4 at Various Locations on McCart Avenue and Hulen Street
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council authorize the execution of a contract with Urban Infraconstruction Inc., in the amount of $1,023,300.00 for
2021 Concrete Restoration Contract 4 project (City Project No. 103207) at various locations on McCart Avenue and Hulen Street.
DISCUSSION:
In the Fiscal Year 2021 Pay -Go Contract Street Maintenance Program, various types of street maintenance are grouped into specific contract
packages. The 2021 Concrete Restoration Contract 4 provides for the repair and reconstruction of failed concrete pavement on McCart Avenue
from Sycamore School Road to W Risinger Road and Hulen Street from Columbus Trail to W Risinger Road (City Project No. 103207).
Construction for this project is expected to start in summer 2021 and be completed by fall 2021. Upon completion of the project there will be no
anticipated impact on the General Fund operating budget.
This project was advertised for bid on February 25, 2021 and March 4, 2021 in the Fort Worth Star -Telegram. On March 25, 2021, the following
bids were received:

M/WBE OFFICE — Urban Infraconstruction, LLC a certified Business Equity Firm, is in compliance with the City's Business Equity Ordinance
by counting 18% of it's self -performance services towards meeting the Business Equity goal on this project. The City's Business Equity goal on this
project is 15%.
This project is located in COUNCIL DISTRICTS 6 and 8
FISCAL INFORMATION / CERTIFICATION:
The Director of Finance certifies that funds are available in the current capital budget, as previously appropriated, in the General Capital
Projects Fund for the 2021 Concrete Restoration Contract 4 project to support the approval of the above recommendation and execution of the
contract. Prior to any expenditure being incurred, the Transportation and Public Works Department has the responsibility to validate the availability
of funds.
