The Park & Recreation Department (PARD) is responsible for mowing parks and other public properties. Listed below are the categories, units, budgeted service frequencies and modes of service delivery. This includes the use of "hot spot" contractors and staff overtime. In addition, the heavy rainfall combined with warmer temperatures has resulted in taller vegetative conditions in between mowing's increasing the time needed to complete a mowing. Barring additional heavy rain's staff anticipates that mowing cycles with be caught up in the next 2-4 weeks.
