HomeMy WebLinkAbout(0113) M&C 21-0692City of Fort Worth, Mayor and DATE: 09/14/21 Texas Council Communication LOG NAME: 60SSC100MASEFUNDING SUBJECT M&C FILE NUMBER: M&C 21-0692 (CD 8 and CD 9) Adopt the Attached Appropriation Ordinance in the Amount of $120,000.00 for Increased Project Costs for Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation, Contract 100 project (City Project No. 102651) RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached appropriation ordinance increasing estimated receipts and appropriations in the Water and Sewer Capital Projects Fund in the amount of $120,000.00, transferred from available funds within the Water and Sewer Fund, for the purpose of funding the Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation, Contract 100 project (City Project No. 102651). DISCUSSION: On August 20, 2020, Mayor and Council Communication (M&C) 20-0545, the City Council authorized an engineering agreement in the amount of $213,875.00 with MAS Consultants, LLC, (City Secretary Contract No. 54403) for the Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation, Contract 100, project. The additional appropriations in this M&C will provide for real property acquisition costs for some project sewer mains in the amount of $120,000.00. FISCAL INFORMATION / CERTIFICATION: The Director of Finance certifies that funds are currently available in the Water & Sewer Fund and upon approval of the above recommendation and adoption of the attached appropriation ordinance, funds will be available in the W&S Capital Projects Fund for the SS Rehab.
