AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT ALL STREETS AND 'THOROUGHFARES
IN A CERTAIN AREA LOCATED IN THE UNION LAND COMPANYtg IN-
IJUSTRIAL ADDITION AND OTHER CONTIGUOUS PROPERTIES BE VACATED,
CLOSED AND ABANDONED; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HERE' PITH; AND PRESCRIBING THE EFFECTIVE DATE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUIJCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, ThXAS:
SECTION 1.
That all streets and thoroughfares within the hereinafter described
property be and the same are hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated
as streets or public thoroughfares of any kind or character whatsoever; said
property being described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a stake in the easterly line of North Commerce
Street, 100 feet southerly from its intersection with the southerly
line of North Sixth Street, this stake being the northwest corner of
lot 20 in block 20 of North Fort Worth,
THMCE north 60 east 990 feet to a stake at the northeast
corner of lot 15 in Block 234 of said North Fort Worth;
THENCE south 30 east 1021 feet to a stake.
THENCE south 37 degrees 25 minutes east 49- 55/100 feet to a
stake in the middle of the north line of the said lot 7 in block D;
THENCE south 30 degrees 38 minutes east 50 feet to a stake in
the east line of said lot 7.
THENCE south no degrees 36 minutes east 185 -7/10 feet to a
stake at the southeast corner of said lot 7;
THENCE north 89 degrees 22 minutes east 100 feet to a stake;
TIMCN south 32 degrees 40 minutes east 94 -3/10 feet to a
stake at the northeast corner of the said lot 10 in block $;
THENCE south no degrees 38 minutes east 232 feet to a stake;
TBMM north 89 degrees 44 minutes east 33 feet to a stake;
THMCE south no degrees 16 minutes east to and along the east
lines of lots 10 and 23 in block 1 and of lot 10 in block 2 said
Industrial Addition and in all 522 -2/10 feet to a stake at the
southeast corner of said lot 10 in block'2;
THENCE north 89 degrees 44 minutes east 17 feet to a stake;
TZETICE south no degrees 16 minutes east to and along the east
line of lot 11 in block G and in all, 4264/10 feet to a stake at
the southeast corner of the said lot 11j
THENCE south 89 degrees 44 minutes west along the south line
of the said block G, 550 feet to a stake at its southwest corner;
rilMICE north no degrees 16 minutes west along the west line of
said block G and in all, 384 -2/10 feet to a stake;
THENCE north 29 degrees 54 minutes west 49-9/10 feet to a stake
in the north line of North Third Street;
THNCE north no degrees 33 minutes west 62 -7/10 feet to a stake
at the south corner of the said block F;
T KJCE north 30 west along the west lines of the said blocks
F and B and C and in all, 1265 -5/10 feet to a stake at the southeast
corner of the said block 20 of north Fort :'north;
TBENCE south 60 west 200 feet to a stake at the southwest corner
of the said block 20;
TBENCE north 30 west 500 feet to the place of beginning and con-
taining forty -one and eight tenths (k1.8) acres.
SECTION 2.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and ef-
feet from and after the date of its passage.
