The Skyline of downtown Fort Worth will be blocked from the neighborhood and clustered with
240 apartment units.
In your report you stated that the proposed use is in conformance with the polices stated in the
report, the proposed zoning is not consistent with the Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use
designation. And you suggested that staff would recommends that the Future Land Use Map
also be updated to reflectthis change.
Why does the 240-apartment proposed zoning change have to be on this land? Is there not
another site that is more suitable for a 240-unit complex?
Please deny ZC-21-101 with prejudice.

Dear Chair of the Zoning Commission,
The New Mitchell Blvd is a tight knit neighborhood made of well -maintained homes. We are
homeowners who care about our homes and our neighbors. We do not welcome this
proposed zoning change ZC-21-101.
The agenda illustrates the problems our neighborhood has with developer's Matkin Hoover
Engineering and YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth.
Between ZC 21 070 and ZC 21101 The New Mitchell Blvd. Is sandwiched between
developments that will not enhance the neighborhood. The car wash is located just 300 ftfrom
our neighborhood and the proposed apartments back up to our neighborhood.
According to Zip recruiter, the salaryfor lower middle-class jobs is $52,250.00 annually. This
taunted by the owners of the proposed project, as some guarantee of renter's excellent
behavior. As my mother use to say "all that glitters is not gold".
In a one -mile radius of our neighborhood, there are six (6) apartment units. The apartment
density is profound.
The land where the YMCA once stood is on a hill with an astounding view of the Fort Worth
skyline. It is prime property for single family homes. We are asking that this cherished land be
dedicated to enhancing our neighborhood. Not debasing it.
