AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT WEST TUCKER STREET, FROM EIGHTH
AVENUE TO NINTH AVENUE, THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 11 EDWARDS HEIRS
ADDITION, AND THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 2 OF SAID ADDITION, 'WHICH
ALLEYS EXT01D FROM PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE NORTH TO TILE FRISCO
-RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED;
PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEAL-
ING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING THAT
THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAItMD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, SAS:
SECTION 1.
That the following described portion of West Tiicker Street and the
followinr-, described alleys be and the same are hereby vacated, closed and
permanently abandoned as streets, alleys or public thoroughfares:
West Tucker Street from Eig th Avenue to Ninth Avenue,

and
The alleys in Block 1 and Block 2, Edwards Heirs Addition
to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, from
Pennsylvania Avenue north to the Frisco Railroad right
of way.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to all of the aforesaid land in said street and alleys
is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owners as provided by
law, save and except that easements are reserved for all existing utilities;
and it is specifically understood and agreed that, should a permanent struc-
ture ever be erected over the storm drain line, the line shall be protected
by proper construction methods, and should a permanent structure ever be
erected over the sanitary sewer line, the line shall be rerouted or relaid
with cast iron pipe at the owners' expense.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage.
