DISCUSSION
Thiis, project provides for the construction of streetlight improvements for Golden Triangle Boulevard
from Interstate Highway 35W to Katy Road. TxDOT's construction contract executed on May 11

The City is providing streetlight poles and arms from existing annual contracts with vendors to
expedite delivery and reduce costs.
The project was advertised in the Fort Worth Star-Telie,g,ram on November 1, 2012 and November 8,
W 2012, and the following bids were opened on November 29, 2012:

Staff has reviewed the bids and determined the unit price are consistent with other recent bid
submittals for similar size and type of projects.
