AN ORDINANCE INCREASING ESTIMATED RECEIPTS AND
APPROPRIATIONS IN THE WATER AND SEWER CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
IN THE AMOUNT OF $99,332.00, TRANSFERRED FROM AVAILABLE FUNDS
IN THE WATER AND SEWER FUND, FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING THE
EAGLE MOUNTAIN AND WESTSIDE WATER TREATMENT PLANT PUMP
STATION WEATHERPROOF ENCLOSURES PROJECT (CITY PROJECT NO.
103335); PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; MAKING THIS
ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That in addition to those amounts allocated to the various City departments for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 in the
Budget of the City Manager,there shall also be increased estimated receipts and appropriations in the Water
and Sewer Capital Projects Fund in the amount of$99,332.00,transferred from available funds in the Water
and Sewer Fund, for the purpose of funding the Eagle Mountain and Westside Water Treatment Plant Pump
Station Weatherproof Enclosures project(City Project No. 103335).
SECTION 2.
That should any portion, section or part of a section of this ordinance be declared invalid,inoperative or void
for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction,such decision,opinion or judgment shall in no way impair
the remaining portions, sections,or parts of sections of this ordinance,which said remaining provisions shall
be and remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance 25073-09-2021 and all other ordinances and
appropriations amending the same except in those instances where the provisions of this ordinance are in
direct conflict with such other ordinances and appropriations,in which instance said conflicting provisions of
said prior ordinances and appropriations are hereby expressly repealed.
SECTION 4.
This ordinance shall take effect upon adoption.

the Fiscal Years 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Program
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Adopt the attached appropriation ordinance increasing estimated receipts and appropriations in the Water and Sewer Capital Projects
Fund in the amount of$99,332.00 transferred from available funds within the Water and Sewer Fund for the purpose of funding the Eagle
Mountain and Westside Water Treatment Plant Pump Station Weatherproof Enclosures project(City Project No. 103335);and
2. Appropriate this Project as a Portion of Water's Contribution to the Fiscal Years 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Program.
DISCUSSION:
On June 22, 2021, Mayor and Council Communication (M&C)21-0463,the City Council authorized the execution of an engineering agreement
with CDM Smith, Inc., in the amount of$439,445.00 for the preparation of plans and specifications for design of the Eagle Mountain and Westside
Water Treatment Plant Pump Station Weatherproof Enclosures project(City Secretary Contract No. 56087).
The additional appropriations in this M&C will provide funding for costs associated with proposed Amendment No. 1 to the contract in the amount
of$99,332.00 for a total contract of$538,777.00 to provide for additional services on the project consisting of interior drainage design, ground
penetrating radar investigation, high service pump station 1 duct bank reroute and high service pump station 2 roadway realignment.
It is the practice of the Water Department to appropriate its CIP plan throughout the fiscal year as projects commence,additional funding needs
are identified,and to comply with bond covenants.

FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION:
The Director of Finance certifies that funds are currently available in the Water and Sewer Fund,and upon approval of the above recommendation
and adoption of the attached appropriation ordinance,funds will be available in the W&S Capital Projects Fund for the EM &WS Weatherproof
Enclosure project. Prior to any expenditure being incurred,the Water Department has the responsibility of verifying the availability of funds.
