CITY COUNCIL WORKSESSION MEETING

With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Pro tem Bivens called the
City Council Work Session of the Fort Worth City Council to order 1:01 p.m. on
Tuesday, March 1, 2022, in the City Council Conference Room 2020 of the Fort Worth
City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas.
1. Report of the City Manager -David Cooke, City Manager
a. Upcoming and Recent Events
City Manager Cooke announced the following:
— Council will not meet Tuesday, March 15th for Spring Break, but the regular
Council Meeting will be March 8th.
— Special Called City Council meeting for the Auditor on Thursday, March 3rd.

b. Organizational Updates and Employee Recognition(s)
Mayor Pro Tem Bivens called upon Marilyn Marvin to Recognize Five Shamblee
Library Employees for Assistance to a Library Patron. The employees recognized
were Johnnie Ray, Evan Banks, David Howard, Valerie Rockwell, Lareka Bailey and
Glenda Dwight.
City Manager Cooke called upon Mike Crum to Recognize Claude Humphrey who
won the "Beyond Award".
City Manager Cooke called upon William Johnson to Recognize Several Employees
who took top Awards for the American Public Works Association Conference and
the Fort Worth Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers.
2022 In-house Pro.iect of the Year Award
TPW Stormwater for the Schwartz Avenue Restoration Project awarded to
Teanna Thompson, Larry Briones, Robert Lupton, Philip Sosa and Randy Gill
at the American Public Works Association Conference on February 7-9, 2022.
TPW Streets for the I 6.6lane mile street reclamation project awarded to
Jerry Beall, LC Kegler and George Snowden at the American Public Works
Association Conference on February 7-9, 2022.
2022 ACEC Engineering Excellence Award
TPW Stormwater - Cannon Henry received from the American Council of
Engineering Companies the honor of Gold medal winner - City of Fort Worth
Storm Drain Rehabilitation Program to be received at the Award Banquet on
March 28th.
2022 Young Engineer of the Year
TPW Capital Delivery - Shweta Rao has been named the 2022 Young Engineer
of the Year by the Fort Worth Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional
Engineers on February 25th.

Presentation was presented by Reginald Zeno, Interim Assistant City Manager and
Anthony Rousseau, Acting Finance Director.
