Bivens, District 5 Council Member Cary Moon, District 4 Council Member Jared Williams, District 6 Staff Present: David Cooke, City Manager Laetitia Brown, Interim City Attorney Jannette Goodall, City Secretary Leann Guzman, Deputy City Attorney Fernando Costa, Assistant City Manager Dana Burghdoff, Assistant City Manager Valerie Washington, Assistant City Manager Manya Shorr, Interim Assistant City Manager Reginald Zeno, Interim Assistant City Manager Carlo Capua, Mayor's Deputy Chief of Staff Whitney Rodriguez, Mayor's Chief of Staff Denis McElroy, Sr. Assistant City Attorney Chris Mosley, Sr. Assistant City Attorney Melinda Ramos, Sr. Assistant City Attorney Kelly Albin, Sr. Assistant City Attorney Neil Noakes, Chief of Police Call to Order After proper notice given pursuant to the Texas Open Meetings Act, with a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the Executive Session Meeting to order and the Fort Worth City Council convened into closed Executive Session at 12:05 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, in the City Council Conference Room 2020 of the Fort Worth City Hall to discuss matters pertaining to the following: The City Council will conduct a closed meeting in order to discuss matters permitted by the following sections of Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code: Section 551.071, Consultation with Attorney To seek the advice of its attorney about pending or contemplated litigation, settlement offers, or any matter in which the duty of the attorney to the City Council under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the Texas Open Meetings Act. a. Legal issues concerning Cause Number DC-20-16941; 193rd Judicial District Court, Dallas County Texas; Trisa Crutcher v. City of Fort Worth; CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION APRIL 4, 2022 PAGE 2 of 2 b. Legal issues concerning the status of the Trinity River Bridges project; and c. Legal issues concerning Mary's Creek discharge permit status With no further business to be conducted, Mayor Parker adjourned the meeting at 12:58 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.
