With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the City
Council Work Session of the Fort Worth City Council to order 1:11 p.m. on Tuesday,
April 5, 2022, in the City Council Conference Room 2020 of the Fort Worth City Hall,
200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas.

for a presentation on Mayfest.

Council Member Flores raised a concern regarding ZC-22-003.
4. Presentation on Partnership with UNT Health Science Center—Valerie
Washington, City Manager's Office and David Mansdoerfer, UNT Health Science
Center
Presentation was provided by Valerie Washington, Assistant City Manager, David
Mansdoerfer, UNT Health Science Center and Noah Drew, UNT Health Science Center.
5. Briefing on Proposed Allocation of Federal Funds from American Rescue Plan
Act of 2021 (ARPA)
a. Status of ARPA Funds—Tony Rousseau,Financial Management Services
b. Proposed Allocation of$5 Million for Development of Permanent Supportive Housing

Council Member Flores requested information on gaps in coverage in the Northside and
to explore the option of using non-profit facilities to expand coverage.
Council Members Nettles and Beck requested information ' on the selection of the
locations included in the program and additional information on the plans for marketing
the program.

Council Member Nettles requested additional information on the number of users per
location and the mile radius of coverage provided by each location.
Council Member Firestone requested information on the ability to include technology
infrastructure into requirements for development projects and options for improving
broadband coverage in the Lake Worth area.
7. City Council Requests for Future Agenda Items and/or Reports
Council Member Firestone: Expand the Arlington Heights (specific Tulsa Way) residential
parking permit zone near Dickies Arena, enabling residents in the zone to secure parking
permits online, and assessing the parking supply for Arena events.
Council Member Nettles: Provide an Informal Report on staffing levels at the Police
Department district offices including: the number of personnel, shift hours, number of
personnel per shift, and protocols for responding to calls at the end of shifts.
Council Members Crain, Firestone, Nettles and Beck: Briefing on traffic management for
all major public events.
Council: Provide marketing materials relating to the Community Wi-Fi Project.
Council: Provide a report on the plan for expanding the Community Wi-Fi Program
including the ability to include technology infrastructure in development projects.
