That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows: BEING a tract of land about 11 :riles west from the Courthouse of Tarrant County, Texas, and lying in and including all or part of the C. Fetitt, S. Petitt, J. Burleson, J. Johnson, C. K. Gleason, W. H. Garrett, B. P. Richerson, J. Kelsey, Nathaniel Holbrook, B. B. E. €__ C. R. R. Co., A. Stallions, J. W. Oxford, T. 0. :�:oody, J. D. Farmer, Jno. acHorse, J. P. E,00ds, J. S. Ward, G. B. Kenney, T. & N. 0. R. R. Co., and N. S. Laney Surveys, and being more fully described as follows: EEGL%NINC' at a point in the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort ;orth, the east right-of-way line of Dr. Harris :goad (County Road No. 1012) at its intersection with the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 1022 produced east; HENCE west, along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 1022 produced east to and along the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 1022, and the south right-of-way line of County Road No. 1022 produced west, to its intersection with the west right-of-way line of County Road 4o. 1041; TH/ENC; south, along the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, the west right-of-way line of County Road No. 1041, to a point 300 feet north from the northwest right-of-way line of proposed Highway I-20; THENCE southwest, along a line parallel to and 300 feet northwest from the northwest right-of-way line of proposed Highway I-20, the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort worth, to its intersection with the middle of i,Iar},s Creed: `orth; THENCE down the middle of Mary-. :;reek north, with its meanders in a south easterly direction, the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort ';orthI to its intersection pith the south right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. P0; THENCE west, along the south right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. 80, to its intersection with the west line of Tarrant County; THENCE north, along the west line of Tarrant County to its inter- section with the south line of the N. S. Laney Survey produced west; THENCE east, along the south line of the N. S. Laney Survey produced west to and along the south line of the N. S. Laney Survey to its south- east corner; t THENCE north, along the east line of the N. S. Laney Survey, to its intersection with the southwesterly right-of-way line of County Road No. 1007; THENCE southeasterly and easterly, along the southwesterly and southerly right-of-way line of County Road No. 1007, to its intersection with the east right-of-way line of Dr. Harris Road (County Road No. 1012), the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth; `i'HENCE southerly, southeasterly, and southerly along the east, northeast, and east right-of-way line of Dr. Harris Road (County Road No. 1012) with its meanders, the present City Limit Line of the City of Fort Worth, to the place of beginning and containing approximately 9,1 square miles. Section 2. That this ordinance shall and does hereby amend every prior ordinance in con- flict herewith, and more particularly this ordinance expressly amends Ordinance No. 3825, heretofore adopted and passed on :ay 16, 1958, but as to all other ordinances or sections of ordinances not in direct conflict herewith this ordinance shall be and is hereby, made cumulative. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be published one time in a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter. Section 4. If any section, subsection, clause, sentence, phrase, or word of this ordinance is for any reason held void or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining sections, subsections, clauses, sentences, phrases or words, except as the same are inseparable from and indispensable to the remaining portions of the ordinance. Section 5. That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less thin thirty (30) days from the date of its publications, as aforesaid, aid it is so ordained.
