Authorize execution of an engineering agreement with Pacheco Koch Consulting Engineers, Inc. in the amount of $413,850.00, for Water and Sanitary Sewer Replacements Contract 2019, WSM-P project; and 2. Adopt the attached appropriation ordinance increasing estimated receipts and appropriations in the Water and Sewer Capital Projects Fund in the amount of $655,184.00, transferred from available funds within the Water and Sewer Fund, for the purpose of funding the Water and Sanitary Sewer Replacements Contract 2019, WSM-P project (City Project No. 103466). This project will have no impact on the Water Department's operating budget when completed. The sewer component of the project is part of the Water Department's Sanitary Sewer Overflow Initiative Program. Business Equity: Pacheco Koch Consulting Engineers, Inc. is in compliance with the City's Business Equity Ordinance by committing to 39 percent Business Equity participation on this project. The MWBE goal on this project is 10 percent. The project is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 6. FISCAL INFORMATION / CERTIFICATION: The Director of Finance certifies that funds are currently available in the Water and Sewer Fund, and upon approval of the above recommendations and adoption of the attached appropriation ordinance, funds will be available in the W&S Capital Projects Fund for the W/SS REPL Contract 2019, WSM-P project to support the approval of the above recommendations and award of the engineering agreement. Prior to any expenditure being incurred, the Water Department has the responsibility of verifying the availability of funds.
