AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEIING CERTAIN
TERRI`_rORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; PROVIDING
THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED
IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 40,
CHAPTER MIII OF THE CI112Y ClUiRTER; AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TE1US:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City
of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and
made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being
situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds
as follows:
Beginning at a point in the present City of Fort Worth
city limit line, said point being 3,322.2 feet south and 541.8
feet east of the most westerly northwest corner of the T. & P.
Railroad Co. Survey, and said point also being the northwest
corner of the intersection of Wharton Drive and Walton Avenue
in Wedgwood Addition;
Thence south 411.1 feet to a point in the south line of
the T. & P. _?ailroad Co. Survey;
Thence west 541.8 feet to the southwest corner of the
&. P. Railroad Co. Survey;
Thence south 45 degrees 00 minutes west 2,640 feet to a
point which is situated in the Anton Pochman Survey;
Thence north 45 degrees 00 minutes west 2,640 feet to the
most northerly northwest corner of the B. W. Gunn Survey;
Thence north 45 degrees 00 minutes west along the line ex-
tended 190 feet more or less to a point in the northwest right
of way line of the G. C. & S. F. Railroad;
Thence in a northeasterly direction with the northwest right
of way line of the G. C. & S. F. Railroad 1,480 feet more or less
to a corner in the present City of Fort Worth city limit line;
Thence in a southerly and easterly direction along the
present City of Fort Worth city limit line to the place of be-
ginning, and containing approximately 153 acres.
SECTION 2.
That this ordinance shall be published one time in The Fort Worth Press,
a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance with
the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and
effect upon its final passage, trhich in no event shall be less than thirty
(30) days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is so ordained.
