AMENDMENT 'No.2 CONTRACT TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No 43438
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Wort. CITY and Freese and Nichols, -Tnc. ,
(ENGINEER) made and. entered. into C ter Secretary Contract No. 3438, the
CONTRACT which was authorize _v M&C No. C-25721, on the 17", day of
Ju _V, 2012 in the amount of $ 76, 219 . 00, and
WHERAS, the CONTRACT was subsequently revised y, Amendment Number 1 in
the amount of $14, 719 which was administratively a !thori zed on February
2 , 2013 ; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT invo Ives engineer in services f or the
following project :

E S, it has become necessary to execute en dmen.t No to the
CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee.
NOW THEREFORE,, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their
duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement,
which amends the CONTRACT:
1 .
Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional
engineering services specific in a proposal dated May 13, 2013, a copy
of which 'is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City
for the additional deeign services to be performed by Engineer totals
$22,, 520. 00. See Attached Funding Breakdown Sheet., Page 3

Article I1 of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an 'increase in
the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under
the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the Cite for all
work and services shall be, an amount of $113, 458'. 010.
3 .
All other previsions of the Contract, which are not expressly
amended herein, shall„ remain in full force and effect .

Additional services have been requested for the CAH Ashland Drainage Improvements Project(Project No.
01918). The additional scope of work includes the following:
1. Coordination with the residents to address identified concerns
2. Evaluation of construction time frames considering varying; constraints related to driveway access
and construction methods
3. Additional meetings with City staff to coordinate resident concerns
4. an additional public greeting
. Revising the design to reflect concrete pavement
6. Design revisions to reflect resident concerns including concrete, stamp salvaging;, rock°w call, and
driveway preferences
7. Grading Permit Documentation
8. `vibration monitoring research, recommendations, and specifications
The total for the proposed design services is$22,520., and the revised total contract amount is$113',458-
