IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS CHANGE ORDER, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL: modify/change the contract as shown below. This change order #2 consists of
additional contract time, as requested by the Contractor, to account for the unusual weather experienced in Fort Worth during this project, especially the �a�et wead�er in May
of 2015. According to records, the period from March through May 2015 was the second wettest spring ever recorded in the Dallas/Fort Worth MetropleY. Furthermore,
records show it rained 24 out of 31 days in May, making it very difficult to perform any exterior blasting or painting on the elevated storage tank project during this time
period.
Change order # 1 awarded the Contractor an additional 21 calendar days for the extra work to make structural repairs to the roof that were discovered during abrasive blasting.
The additional 21 calei�dar days approved as part of change order # 1 extended the contractual final completion date to August 13, 2015. Work on the Timberline Tank was
completed by die Contractor on August 24�h, disinfected, tested, and put back into service on August 26, 2015, with the Contractor subsequently demobilizing from the
project site. The tank has been in continuous operation since August 26.
7'he Contractor has requested an additional 45 calendar days to account for weather delays, the details of which are included in the attached letter. Staff has reviewed this
change order and is in agreement �vith the Contractor that the unusual inclement weather delayed final completion. The additional 45 calendar days would extend the final
completion date to September 27, 2015, though all of the field work associated with the project was complete in August.
It is understood and agreed that the acceptance of this Change Order by the Contractor constitutes an accord and satisfaction and represents payment in full
(both in time and money) for all costs arising out of, or incidental [o, the Change Order.
