Upcoming and Recent Events City Manager Cooke advised there would be a Special Called Audit Committee Meeting on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 5:00 p.m., at the Future City Hall. b. Organizational Updates and Employee Recognition(s) City Manager Cooke called on Alexandra Thurston and Cannon Henry who announced activities for the City's Juneteenth program. City Manager Cooke recognized Interim Assistant City Manager Manya Shorn Ms. Shoor introduced Mr. Reyne Telles as the City's New Communications Officer. Update on Leadership Fort Worth -Jennifer Trevino,Leadership Fort Worth Ms. Jennifer Trevino provided the update on Leadership Fort Worth. 5. Budget Update-David Cooke,City Manager This item was postponed to the June 21, 2022, City Council Worksession meeting. 6. Presentation on Judicial Appointment Recommendations-Judge Danny Rodgers, Municipal Court Judge Danny Rodgers, Municipal Court, advised the Council that Ms. Carla Kelman would be recommended for appointment consideration during the June 14, 2022, Council meeting. 7. Update on Development of Permanent Supportive Housing—Tara Perez,Neighborhood Services Ms. Tara Perez, Neighborhood Services Department, provided and update on Permanent Supportive Housing. 8. Presentation on 2022-2023 Action Plan for Federally Funded Housing and Community Development Programs -Victor Turner and Sharon Burkley,Neighborhood Services Mr. Victor Turner and Ms. Sharon Burkley, Neighborhood Services Department, provided a staff report on the action plan. 9. Environmental Fund Update—Brandon Bennett and Cody Whittenburg, Code Compliance Mr. Cody Whittenburg, Code Compliance Department, provided an update on the Environmental Fund. City Council Requests for Future Agenda Items and/or Reports Council Member Crain: Provide HEAT map depicting where bulk of calls are coming from regarding fireworks. Council Member Nettles: Provide information on application process for CCPD funded programs. Council Member Nettles & Mayor Pro tern Bivens: Provide HEAT map reflecting CCPD programs in Council Districts; comparison of funding awarded to crimes taking place in each Council District. Council Member Beck: City policy on naming City facilities, property, infrastructure, etc. Council Member Flores: Update on Short Term Rentals. Council Member Beck: Overview of purpose and roles of police officers at schools. Mayor Pro tem Bivens: Identify schools that have been contacted by TPW staff to address sidewalk issues since 2018 (relative to gaps in funding/maintenance). Council Member Flores: Provide historical data/trends on solid waste funding. Council Member Beck: Provide list of proposed Permanent Supportive Housing sites in each Council District. Council Member Beck: Provide policy pertaining to run-away children. Council Member Beck: Analysis of all major interstate highways in the City; how many sections with percentage of lights out; whose responsibility to maintain; status of work orders to repair; what is policy for prioritizing street repair. Council Member Beck: Percentages or list of properties on flood risk map; what developed properties fall into 100-year event - include MMAs and SMMAs; vacant land. Council Member Nettles: Update on Facebook Live at Work Session and Council meetings.
