BE IT ORDAINED BY T1­,TE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIVY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS : SECTION 1. That Webei" Street between 37th and 36th Streets be and the same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as a street or pL.iblic thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever. SECTION 2. That all utility easements in Blocks 5 and 6, Jarvis Heights Apartments Subdivision in the City of Fort Worth, be and the sam(,,.� are hereby extinguish ed, vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as easeinents for public utilities . SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances ii'i con- flict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4 . That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained. The subject street is paved with curb and gutter and will', not be needed in the future. Abandonment of the street and easements will permit the Park and Recreation Department to proceed with plans to utilize Blocks 5 and 6 for construction of the Diamond Hill Recreation Center and adjacent recreational facilities. CIP -24 (CPR-l) f The City Departments and Private Utility Companies have reviewed this request and have no objections to the proposed vacation The City Plan Commission has reviewed the subject request and recommends adop- tion of an ordinance vacating the public right-of-way and easements as requested.
