Call to Order—Mattie Parker, Honorable Mayor With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the City Council Work Session on the FY2023 Budget at 10:09 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022, in the City Council Conference Room 2020, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas. 2. City Manager Presentation was made by Valerie Washington, Assistant City Manager. —Council requested additional discussion and details on the City's approach to environmental justice impact of City policies, impact on health of minority communities and what is the City doing to prevent selective enforcement of environmental policies and fees. (Council Member Williams left the meeting at 11:18 a.m.) 5. Water and Sewer Fund — Chris Harder, Water Director Presentation was made by Chris Harder, Director of the Water Department. 6. Closing Comments — Mattie Parker, Honorable Mayor Mayor Pro Tern Bivens requested additional information on: —Number of new positions included in the FY23 Proposed Budget and what they were. —Information on how departments are using ARPA funding. —Information on how collaboration between Development Services and other departments involved in the permitting areas will be improved with the increase investment in Development Services. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, Mayor Parker closed the City Council Budget Work Session on the FY2023 Budget at 12:00 p.m., on Friday, August 12, 2022.
