FP&5 Grants support projects that enhance the safety of the public and firefighters from fire and related hazards. The primary goo! of such projects is to target high-risk populations such as the elderly and children and to reduce the number of deaths and injuries caused by fires. There are ofken violations of the Fire Code in commercial buildings. Such violations can cause fires or spread fires and cause injuries or deaths. T# ~ F!r°£• f~f'~ i3"tr"tf"F?! V4iii ;~~e tI5t-4rJ.
