CALL TO ORDER
With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the City
Council Public Comment Meeting of the Fort Worth City Council to order at 6:00 p.m.
on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, in the City Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City
Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas.

PLEDGES OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE UNITED STATES AND THE STATE
OF TEXAS- (State of Texas Pledge: "Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance
to thee,Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible.")
The Pledges of Allegiances to the United States of America and the State of Texas were
recited.
CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
Motion: Mayor Pro tem Bivens made a motion, seconded by Council Member Crain, that
the minutes of the Special Called Work Session and the Regular meeting of August
9, 2022, the Budget Work Session of August 10, 2022, the Budget Work Session
of August 12, 2022, the Work Session and Public Comment meeting of August
16, 2022, the Regular Meeting of August 23, 2022, and the Special Called meeting
and Budget Work Session of August 25, 2022, be approved. Motion passed 8-0,
Council Member Beck absent.

Ms. Caryl Sherman-Gonzalez appeared before Council relative to air quality and
back-to-school.
Mr. Brian Crosson appeared before Council relative to street flooding in and
around Watershed community.
Mr. Dan Haase appeared before Council relative to short-term rentals.
Mr. Bob Willoughby appeared before Council relative to general comments.
Bishop Mark Kirkland, representing St. Mark's Church, appeared before Council
relative to concerns and considerations.
Mr. Thomas Torlincasi appeared before Council relative to police accountability
and civil rights violations.
Mr. Avery Lindsey appeared before Council relative to climate action.
Mr. George Chiles appeared before Council relative to the City Council.
Mr. Gerald Banks, Sr., appeared before Council relative to profiling, police
brutality, wrongful arrest/killing, wrongful prosecution, end qualified immunity, etc.
Ms. Adrian Smith appeared before Council relative to crime within the city.
Mr. Malikk Austin appeared before Council relative to the state of the city.
Mr. James Smith appeared before Council relative to Atatiana Jefferson, police
accountability and who's patrolling the streets.
Mr. Jim Delong appeared before Council relative to a retraction.

Ms. Annie Steel complete a Public Presentation card relative to the excess number
of parked cards in neighborhoods and was recognized by Mayor Parker but was
not present in the Council Chamber.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Mayor Parker adjourned the meeting at 6:40 p.m.
