WMMM, , it has become desirable to open and connect
Hampshtre Strut and Third Street, in Murray Hill Addition, in the
City of 'Port Worth to a width o:f eighty root (8011) such as the two
ends will be joined by easy curves between their intersections with
Bradley Avenue and Lipton Avenue, respectively; which street, when
opened to a width of eighty toot (801), no-king the connection afore-
said, will be known as Vickery Boulevard; and
WHWJ-S, certain portions of the street ends of
Hampshire Street (known as Hale Street in 1922 and so designated in
the plat of "Fishburn Little Farms") and Third Street, in Hurray Hill
Addition, are thereby rendered useless and unnecessary and are shat
are kmOWU as "dead end" streets, and the further continuation of such
sections constitutes a nuisance and menace to the public safety, and
it becomes necessary to order such street ends closed and permanently
vacated and such proceedings appearing to the Comoi.l to be for the public
convenience and safety-

BE IT ORDAINED By THE CITY COUNIL OF THE CITY OF FORT VORTH:
SECTION I
That Third Street, in Murray Hill Addition, and
Sam shirs Street be joined by easy curves between their rospative
intersections with Bradley and Upton AVQ=J0# axed that said connections
be opened to a width of eighty " (801) and hereafter "be'known'as
Vickery Boulevard running Beat toward Handley, Texas, the exact
location of said connecting street being particularly shoWn and
definitely determined by the plat of "Claimant PlAce" an addition
to the City of Fort Worth as here exhibited to this Connell and
an this day filed with the County Clerk of Tarrant County as a
re-plat of said properties.
SECTION II
That the following described sections and portions of
streets in the corporate limits of the City of Fort Worth be sad the
sane are hereby declared to be permanently closed and forf"r vacated
for use as 4 public street, highway or thoroughfare, to-wit:

SECTION III
That the permanent closing and vacating of the
above amazed sections of streets Is hereby declared to be a public
necessity and their further continuation as thoroughfares declared to
be 0, public mono" and nuisance and this Ordinance shall operate as
a Quit-olaim deed from the City of Fort Worth to abutting property
owners resigning, releasing and discharging apy and all claim of
the City of Fort Worth to use the saw as public streets and thorough-
fares,
SECTION IV
This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
from and after its passage.
