With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the City
Council Work Session of the Fort Worth City Council to order 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday,
October 18, 2022, in the City Council Conference Room 2020 of the Fort Worth City
Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas.

There were no upcoming or recent events.

Police Chief Neil Noakes announced several recent appointments and promotions in
the Police Department.

Presentation was made by Assistant City Manager Valerie Washington; Chief Jim Davis,
Fire Department; Christopher Troutt, Sr. Assistant City Attorney; Harold Cates, Human
Resources Manager; and Mark Rauscher, Fire Department Assistant Director.
7. Briefing on Assessment of Equity in Municipal Service Delivery - Christina

8. City Council Requests for Future Agenda Items and/or Reports
Council Member Beck requested an update on Mental Health Officer Training in the
Police Department.
Mayor Pro tem Bivens requested an IR on the street sweeper schedule.
Council Member Nettles requested a presentation by Dr. Angelica M. Ramsey, the new
Superintendent of FWISD.
Mayor Pro tem Bivens and Council Member Williams requested an IR on the strategy for
promoting and recruiting diverse talent in the Police Department.
