SECTION I,,
That;% rte appropriation for the ensuing fiscal, year beginning October
1, 1942 and ending September 30, 1943, for the different departments and

X11. VAIMWORIQ FUND BUDGET
The 'Water Department shall be provided with such revenue as may be
secured from the sale of water and other sources as shown by other ordi-
nances heretofore passed, and such money shall be used to meet the require.-
menu of that department as provided in the budget of the City Manager.
XIII. PARKS
The Department of Public Parks shall be provided with funds realized
from a tax levy of 9f on each $100.00 of assessed value of all real, per-
sonal and mixed property In the City of Fort Worth root exo*t from taxation
by law, and such money shall be used to meet the requirements of that de-
partment an provided in the budget of the City Manager.
XIV9 RECREATION
The Department of Public Recreation shall be provided with funds
realized from a tax levy of 20 on each $100.00 of assessed value of all
real, personal and mixed property in the City of Fort Worth not exempt from
taxation by law, and such money shall be used to meet the requirements of
that department as provided in the budget of the City Manager.
XV. LIBRARY
The Public Library shall be provided with funds realized from a
tax levy of 30 on each $100.00 of assessed value of all real, personal and
mixed property in the City of Fort Worth not exampt from taxation by law,
and such money shall be used to most the requirements of that department
as provided in the budget of the City Manager.
SECTION II.
That the distribution and division of the above named appropriso-
tions be made in accordance with the budget of expenditures submitted by
the City Manager and as revised by the City Council in accordance with the
provisions of the City Charter and adopted by the City Council, and which
budgebudget is made a-part of this ordinance by reference thereto and shall be

in connection with the expenditures of the above appropriation.
SCION III.
That the City Council of the City of Fort forth shall sit as a com-
mittee of the whole in the Council Chamber at the City Mall in the City of
Fort Worth on Wednesday, the 9th day of September, A. D. 1942, at 10 o'clock
A. M,, to hear any complaints, suggestions or observations that an;r citizen, ;
taxpayer or party interested may desire to make with reference to smy or
all the provisions of this ordinance, and such committee shall continua
its deliberations until the public has been liven a full opportunity to be
heard,
SECTION IV
That following the public hearings, for which provision has been
made in the preoed.ng section, this ordinance shall be published two times,
one of whioh publications shall not be less than ton (10) days before the
second reading and final passage of the ordinance, in the official newspaper
of the City of Fort Worth, which newspaper is one of general circulation
in said City, together with a separate schedule setting forth the items in
the estimate of the City.Manager which were omitted or changed by the City
Council, and the reason for such omission or change, as required by the
Charter of said City.

SECTION VI.
Should any part, portion; section or part of a section of this ors-
divaYo0 be "d invalid or inoperative or void for any reason by a
court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opinion or judpent shall
in no way affect the remaining portions, parts, sections or parts of sec-
tions of this ordinance, which provisions shall be, remain and continue
to be in full force and effect.
SECTION VII.
All ordinances and appropriations for which provision has hereto-
fore been made are hereby expressly repealed if in conflict with the pro-
visions of this ordinance,
SECTION VIII,
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and ef-
fect frmm and after the date of its passage and publication as required by
the Charter of the City of Fort Worth.
