The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation has established the Tarrant County Safe Streets Task

most violent criminal activity within the community. The Fort Worth Police Department has participated in
the TCSSTF for several years and has executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)to continue
participation in the TCSSTF. The unit maximizes inter-agency cooperation targeting bank robberies,
violent fugitives, commercial robberies, kidnappings and other violent crimes.
The Fort Worth Police Department will have three police officers assigned to participate in the
TCSSTF. The MOU executed to continue participation in the TCSSTF allows the Fort Worth Police
Department to request reimbursement of overtime costs in the amount not to exceed $51,606.75 for work
performed by its officers assigned to the TCSSTF.

The Financial Management Services Director certifies that upon approval of the above recommendation
