AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT 10TH AVENUE FROM VICRERY BOULE- VARD SOUTH TO THE TEXAS AND PACIFIC RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVER- SION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS' SECTION 1. That 10th Avenue from Vickery Boulevard south to the Texas and Pa- cific Railroad right of way, and being between Blocks 23 and 24, Edward Heirs Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as a street or public thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in said street is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owners as provided by law, save and except that an easement is reserved for a forty-two inch storm sewer and for an exist- ing eight inch sanitary sewer main. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and ef- fect from and after the date of its passage. APPROVED AS TO FORM: ga2g=a,�� City Attorney
