AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEXING CER-
TAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO TO CITY CHI FORT WORTH; PRO-
VIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NMPAPER
PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCOVANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
SECTION 40, CHAPTER XXVIII CF THE CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIB-
ING AN ACTIVE DATE..
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WCOTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City
of Fort Werth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits
and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being
situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds
as follows
Beginning at a point in the present City of Fort Worth
city limit line in the south line of the W. J. Morgan Survey
and the northwesterly line of the G. C. & S. F. Railroad right
of way';
Thence in a northeasterly direction along the present
City of Fort Worth city limit line and along the northwesterly
line of the G. C. & S. F. Railroad right of way a distance of
3015 feet more or less to an angle point in the existing city
limit line;
Thence in a southeasterly direction with said existing
city limit line a distance of 162 feet more or less to a point
in the southeast right of way of the Old Granbury Road and also
in the existing city limit line,
Thence in a southeesterly direction with said right of way
Md. also said existing city limit line 1440 feet more or less to
the intersection of the southeast right of way of the old Gran'bury
Road and the northeast right of way of the proposed Southwest Loop
and also being an angle point in the existing city limit line,
Thence in a southeasterly direction with said existing city
limit line and also said northeast right of way line of the pro-
Posed Southwest Loop 1135 feet more or less to a point where said
right of way line intersects the east line of the W J. Morgan
survey;
Thence in a southerly direction with the east Line of the
W. J. Morgan Survey 4.80 feet more or less to the southeast corner
of said survey;
Thence westerly with the south line of the W. J. Morgan Sur-
vey 65 feet more or less to the northeast corner of Wedgewood
Addition Section 1;
Thence south 0 degrees 06 minutes east 2950 feet with the
east line of said Wedgewood Addition to a steel rod for the south-
east corner of this area on the east line of the C. K. S. Russom
.Ranch, same being north 0 degrees 11 minutes west 295.2 feet and
north 38 degrees west 27.3 feet and pgrth o degrees 06 minutes
west 57)+ feet from the northeast corner of the Samuel michelis
survey;
Thence south 89 degrees 40 minutes west 170 feet to a steel
rod for corner;

rod for corner,,
Thence north 66 degrees 35 minutes west 490 feet to a steel
rod for corner;
Thence north 87 degrees 35 minutes west 330 feet to a steel
rod for corner;
Thence south 3 degrees 25 minutes west 70 feet to a steel
rod for corner;
Thence north 77 degrees 35 minutes west 115 feet to a
steel rod for corner;
Thence south 5 degrees 25 minutes west 454 feet to a
steel rod for Corner;
Thence north 82 degrees 35 minutes west 350 feet to a
steel rod for corner;
Thence with curve with a radius of 1424 feet a total dis-
tance of (arc measurement) 871 feet to a steel rod: for corner;
Thence south 56 degrees 19 minutes west 125 feet to a steel
rod for corner;
Thence north 73 degrees ll minutes west 644 feet to a steel
rod for comer;,
Thence south 57 degrees 49 minutes west 80 feet to a"steel
rod for corner;
Thence north 72 degrees 11 minutes west 1307 feet to a steel
rod for corner;
Thence south 27 degrees 49 minutes west 484 feet to a steel
rod for corner;
`thence south 31 degrees 29 minutes west 625 feet to a steel
rod for corner,
Thence south 38 degrees 59 minutes west 615 feet to a steel
rod for corner;
Thence north 48 degrees 31 minutes west 830 feet to a steel
rod for corner;
Thence north 44 degrees 46 minutes west 864 feet more or less
to a point in the northwest right of way of the G C. & S. F.
Railroad;
Thence in a northeasterly direction with the northwest right
of way line of the G. C. & S. F. Railroad 3664 feet more or less
to the place of beginning, and containing approximately 316 acres.
SECTION 2.
That this ordinance sbgll be published one time in The Fort north
Pr_ ess� a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance
with the provisions of Section 44, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and
effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty
(34) days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is so or-
dained,.
