Section 1.
That Ordinance No. ?))19 passe(I rand �-�viopted by the City Council at a
regular meeting held on the 15th rla,ia of Aaigus)tj 19588 calling a special
election in the City of Fort VTorth to be held on the 14th day of October,
1958, pursuant to Sections 5 and 16 of an Act described as Chapter 298, TIouse
Bill 70, adopted at the re,gular session of the 55th Legislature in 1957 and
generally known as the Urban Itenewal Law of Texas, on the question of ,Aiether
the City Council of the City of 1�'ort Worth sl'.Lould aclopt a Resolution finding
that: (1) one or more slimi or blighted areas exist in the City; and, (2) the
rehabilitation, conservation, or sluiaclearance and redevelopment, or a
combination thereof, of such area or areas is necessary in the interest of
public health, safety, n.jor.,,.,tls or welfare of the residents of the City, be,
and the said ordinance is hereby, in all things repoaleri.
Section 2.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from
