AN 010INANCE APPROVING THE SPECIFICATIONS FILED BY THE
PUBLIC TVIORKS DIRECTOR FOR THE MWVE11,24VT OF VARIOUS
STREETS AT NINE LOCATIO14S IN TM CITY OF FORT WORTH, 7EXAS
Whereas, the Public Works Director on the 5th day of February,
1959, filed with the City Council complete Specifications for the improvement
of Ross Avenue from the southerly line of Northwest Thirty-sixth Street to the
northerly line of Northwest Thirty-fifth Street; Northwest Thirty-fifth Street
(an off-set in Ross Avenue) from the easterly line of Ross Avenue to the North:
to the westerly line of Ross Avenue to the South; Ross Avenue from the south-
erly line of Northwest Thirty-fifth Street to the northerly line of Northwest
Thirty-fourth Street; North Calhoun Street from the northerly line of Northeast
Thirty-third Street to the southerly line of Northeast Thirty-fourth Street;
McCandless Street from the southwesterly line of Azle Avenue to the northeasterly
line of Northwest Twenty-third Street; Northwest Loraine Street from the north-
westerly line of Rock Island Avenue to the southeasterly line of McCandless Street;
Northwest Twenty-second Street from the northwesterly line of Kearney Street to the
southeasterly line of Lydon Street; Northwest Twenty-third Street from the north-
westerly line of Menefee Street to the southeasterly line of Long Avenue; Pernwood
Street from 150 feet South of the southerly line of Walnut Drive to 150 feet North
of the northerly line of Sundown Drive; Sundown Drive from the westerly line of
Sam Calloway Road to the easterly line of Fernwood Street, Orr Street from the
southerly line of Cooper Street to the southerly line of Terrell.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDA.DiED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the same be and are hereby approved as the Specifications under
which said work shall be done.
SECTION 2.
That the City Secretary is hereby directed to advertise for Bids for
the construction of the said improvements in accordance with the said Specifications,
which advertisement shall be inserted one or more times in the Fort Worth Star Tele-
gram, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Fort Worth, and shall call
for sealed Bids for the said work, to be filed with the City Council on or before
the 3rd day of harch, 1959, at 10:00 A.M. upon which date shall be opened and read
as prescribed by the City Charter. That the first publication of said advertisement
shall be not less than ten (10) days before the date herein set for opening of Bids.
SECTION 3.
That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.
