Organizational Updates and Employee Recognition(s) David Cooke , City Manager called on Jannette Goodall to introduce Katherine Cenicola as the New E lection /Council Support Coordinator and Tammi Castillo as the New Boards and Commissions Coordinator. Presentation on Botanic Garden Master Plan -Patrick Newman, Fort Worth Botanic Garden and BRIT Presentation was given by Patrick Newman, Fort Worth Botanic Garden and BRIT. 5. Fort Worth Convention Center Phase 1 Advisory Committee Update -Mike Crum, Public Events and Bob Jameson, Visit Fort Worth Presentation was made by Bob Jameson, Visit Fort Worth, Michael Bennett and William Johnson, Assistant City Manager. Council Member Beck recommended analyzing the potential to completely close the pedestrian area to turn it into a true pedestrian area. Briefing on One-Second Collaborative to Prevent Y outb Gun Violence - Assistant Chief Robert Alldredge, Police and Leab King, United Way of Tarrant County Presentation was given by Assistant Chief Robert Alldredge, Police Department and Regina Williams , Executive Vice President and Chief Impact Officer, United Way of Tarrant County. 7. FY 2022 Fiscal Close -David Cooke, City Manager Presentation was given by David Cooke , City Manager. 8. City Council Requests for Future Agenda Items and/or Reports Mayor Parker requested an update on the implementation of the Fire Study recommendations. Council Members Flores and Beck requested a follow-up on IR 23-020 to provide a list of the models of decibel meter readers and the frequency schedule for calibrating the meters. Mayor Pro Tern Bivens and Council Member Flores requested a briefing on the functions of the Communications and Public Engagement Department. Council Member Beck requested a report on the formulation of the Intergovernmental Affairs Group. Council Member Beck requested a report on the outdoor public events permitting process and when Council notification is required for events such as street closures. Council Member Beck requested a report on implementing a policy relating to idling vehicles . Council Member Beck requested information on how the City communicates zonmg changes including signage and mail outs . Council Member Beck requested information on the location of AED's in City facilities ; other cities that have regulated their placement in private facilities and grants available to assist with the cost of the equipment. Council Member Flores requested a list of development projects that do not reqmre zoning changes by dollar amount. Council Member Blaylock requested a list of outstanding requests by Council (Staff Action Tracking). Council Member Williams requested an update on the policy relating to shopping carts . Council Member Williams requested an update on the capture of methane gas for energy production at the landfill. Council Members Nettles and Williams requested an analysis of extending the ours of community and recreation centers. Council Member Nettle s requested an analysis on decriminalizing possession of man Juana. Council Members Flores and Beck requested recommendations on implementation of a robust internship program that includes paid internships and possible grant programs and methods to assist City departmental participation in the NextGen Youth Development Program .
