A petition has been received from the adjacent property owners requesting
the closing of the alley between Stock 3 Smit'h's Widstsi de Addition and
Block Ste, Field's Hillside Addition. The Roblic WoKs Department and the
City Planning Department- Wwe investigated this request and have found no
ob,jeott ons to the requested closing, pr i ded an easement be reserved for
the existing sanitary sewer and Texas Electric Service Company's line.- The
gas, water and telephone fac f i i t i es have been reviewed and they offer no
objections.
The alley to be, closed i s described as follows:
The alloy between Block 3 S itho ' 'id st fde Addition and Block
S-6, Field's Hillside Addition to°the City of Fort north. Tarrant
County, Texas, which ties between Belknap,Stroet and Bluff Street
and fr om Lexington n ton Street to Pu rc e Street, SAVE AND EXCEPT the
west 68,51 which ties within the Wastside Connection right-of-way;
and that an easement be reserved for any and all existing utilities,
Including a 101 easement for the sanitary sewer main, said easement
being measured 511each side of the center fine of the existing sani-
tary sewer main; and 1 base ht for the Texas Electrtc Service
Company's line, said easement being measured 2.51 each side of the
existing pole line.
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted for the closing of the alley
between Block ,, Smith's th's life sts i de Addition and Block S Field's Hillside
Addition, as described above.
