ARPA funded Neighborhood Street Light LED Upgrade Program The LED conversion projects are assessed, designed if needed, and constructed within the same year. FY23 projects are anticipated to complete design and construction in FY23. FY 23 Year 1 projects include the following neighborhoods: Ridgmar, Alamo Heights, Glen Crest, Carver Heights East, and Historic Southside. The planned program list is included with this IR that provides a further breakdown of neighborhoods and their associated planned design and construction year. Alta Mere Capital Replacement Program The existing Municipal Maintenance Agreement between the City and TxDOT indicates that the State will construct and the City will maintain street lights in this corridor. However, TxDOT is using Category 1 Preventative Maintenance and Rehabilitation funding to assist with these repairs. The City of Fort Worth has completed design and submitted plans to TxDOT. After TxDOT's review of the 100% plans, construction will be scheduled and led by TxDOT. Terminal Road/Blue Mound Road and Loop 820 After an inspection, staff believe the outage of street lights along this corridor is due to a blown transformer that feeds this circuit. Staff has coordinated with Oncor and all repairs have been completed. Old Main Street Bridge Staff have made several repairs to the Main Street Bridge. Intermittent electrical shorts remain and are causing the breakers to trip. Transportation Management Technicians are tracking down the fault and expect to have the lights operational by March 10, 2023. If you have any questions, please contact Lauren Prieur, Transportation and Public Works Director, at 817-392-6035.
