A. Call to Order
After proper notice given pursuant to the Texas Open Meeting s Act , with a quorum of the City
Council Members present, Mayor Pro Tern Bivens called the Executi v e Session Meeting to order
and the Fort Worth City Council convened into closed Special Called Executi v e Session at 12:04
p.m. on Tuesday, February 21 , 2023 , in the City Council Conference Room 2020 of the Fort
Worth City Hall to discu ss matters pertaining to the following:
B. The City Council will conduct a closed meeting in order to discuss matters permitted by
the following sections of Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code:
CITY ATTORNEY
1. Section 551.071, CONSULTATION WITH ATTORNEY
To seek the advice of its attorney about pending or contemplated litigation, settlement offers, or
any matter in which the duty of the attorne y to the City Council under the Texas Disciplinary

Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the Texas Open

meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the City in negotiations with a third
