SECTION 40, CHAPTER XXVIII OF THE CITY CHARTER,
AMENDING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
PRESCRIBING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND SPECIFYING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
Section 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of Fort
North is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an integral
part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being situated in Tarrant County,
Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEING a tract of land about 12 miles southwest of the Court House
of Tarrant County, Texas, and lying in and including all or part of the
J. A , Williams, Ft. W. Wheat, I. Flores, P. T. I. Co. , J. Van Lent, J. W.
Asbury,, A, H. Hodge, 11. W. Dooley, R. A. Bessent, J. J. Albirado,
Benjamin Thomas, L. Goff, F. C. Wilburn, S. B. Wilson, J. Moore, J. Pace,
Thomas Loughley, F. W. Kruger, J. P. Bell, J. Sise, T. & P. R.R. Co. ,
McKinney and Williams, Thomas Beedy, 1�.Iilliam Anglin, J. 0. Guinn, Charles

BEGINNIAG at a point in the present City Limit Line of the City of
Fort Worth, said point being the intersection of the south line of the
B. W. Gunn Survey produced west,, with the east line of the Russom. Ranch
Reservoir Site, as shown on Page 758-C of the City Tax Maps, produced south;
THENCE south, to a point in the south line of the J. W. Williams
Survey;
THENCE west, along the south line of the J. W. Williams Survey to
its most southerly southwest corner in the east line of the W. W. Wheat
Survey;
THENCE south, along the east line of the W. W. Wheat Survey and the
westerly east line of the I. Flores Survey, and continuing along said

THENCE north, along the easterly west line of the I. Flores Survey
to the southeast corner of the P. T. I. Co. Survey;
THENCE west, along the south lines of the P. T. I. Co., and J. 11.
Asbury Surveys and continuing along said line produced west to its
intersection with the easterly right-of-way line of the Fort Worth and
Rio Grande R.R;
THENCE southwesterly and westerly, along the southeasterly and
southerly right-of-way line of the Fort Worth and Rio Grande R.R., with
its meanders, to its intersection with the west line of Tarrant County;
THENCE north, along the west line of Tarrant County to its inter-
section with the north right-of-way line of State Farm to Market Road
No. 2376;
THENCE in a southeasterly direction along the north right-of-way
line of State Farm to Market Road No. 2376 to its intersection with the
westerly right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. 377;
THENCE in a northeasterly direction along the westerly right-of-way
line of U. S. Highway No. 377 to its intersection with the south line
of the D. T. Finley Survey;
THENCE east, along the south lines of the D. T. Finley, G. H. & H.
R.R. Co., and J. P. Smith Surveys to the southeast corner of the J. P.
Smith Survey;
THENCE in a southeasterly direction to the northwest corner of the
Wm. Anglin Survey;
THENCE east, along the most northerly south line of the J. 0. Quinn
Survey to its easterly southeast corner, and continuing east along the
south lines of the J. Sharp, 1.11. W. Warnell, and C. Johnson Surveys to
the southeast corner of the said C. Johnson Survey in the west line of
the R. A. Bessent Survey, and continuing east across the said R. A.
Bessent Survey to its east line;
THENCE south, along the east line of the R. A. Bessent Survey to its
southeast corner, in a south line of the J. F. Heath Survey;
THENCE east, south, east, north, east, south and east, along the
lines of said J. F. Heath Survey to its southeast corner in the west
line of the J. Van Lent Survey;
THENCE north, along the west line of the J. Van Lent Survey to its
northwest corner;
THENCE east, along the north line of the J. Van Lent Survey to its
northeast corner, the southeast corner of the T 4 P R.R. Co. Survey;
THENCE north, along the east line of the T & P R.'R. Co. Survey, to
and along the east line of the N. B. Brisk .Survey to its interior corner,
THENCE east., along the southerly north line of the N. B. Brisk
Survey to its easterly southeast corner;
Section 2.
That this ordinance shall and does hereby amend every prior ordinance in
conflict herewith, and more particularly this ordinance expressly amends Ordinance
No. 3844, heretofore adopted and passed on May 16, 1958, but as to all other
ordinances or sections of ordinances not in direct conflict herewith this ordi-
nance shall be and is hereby, made cumulative.
Section 3.
That this ordinance shall be published one time in a daily newspaper
published in the City of Fort hforth, in accordance with the provisions of Section
40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter.
Section 4.
If any section, subsection, clause, sentence, phrase, or word of this ordi-
nance is for any reason held void or unconstitutional by a court of competent
jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining
sections, subsections, clauses, sentences, phrases or words, except as the same
are inseparable from and indispensable to the remaining portions of the ordinance.
Section S.
That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect
upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30) days
from the date of its publications, as aforesaid., and it is so ordained.
