WT- MEAS, the City of Fort Worth, Texas, has heretofore entered into a contract with GLADE INC. for the making and construction of certain street improvements on the hereinafter described portions of streets, avenues and public places in said City, to-wit: 1. Crawford Street: From the North Line of E. Cannon Avenue to the South line of East Hattie Avenues. Known and designated as Unit 'No. 1. 2. Crawford Street: From the North Line of Oleander St. to the South line of E. Rosedale, known and designated as Unit No. 2. 3. Schmidt Street: From the North Line of Avenues M. to 2001 North of Ave. L, known and designated as Unit No. 3. 4. Windowmere Street: From the East lines of Bradley St. to the East line of Griggs St. known and designated as Unit No. 4. 5. Lindsey Street: From the North Lino of Avenue G. to the South Linea of Lot 5, Blk. 3 R,W. Rhodes of East Rosedale Heights Add. known and designated as Unit No. 5. 6, Avenue L: From the East Lino of Lloyd Ave. to the West Lines of Edgewood Terrace, known and designated as Unit No, 7, 7. Lloyd Avenue: From the South Line of Avenue H to the North Lines of Ave. G, known and designated as Unit No. S. WEMMS, by sundry proceedings heretofore passed by the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, including Ordinance No. 4673 , a portion of the cost of said improvements was levied and assessed against the respective properties abutting on each of the above described portions of streets, avenues and public places and against the real and true owners thereof; and, W=AS, the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, has, upon re- view, found and determined that, in some instances, in order to effect substantial justice and equality, it is desirable and necessary to grant and issue certain credits against some one or more of the assessments levied by Ordinance No. 4673 . , and VHMEAS, the street improvements hereinabove mentioned have been completed u- e described,upon each of the portions of streets, avenues and public places hereinabov de ribed, and have been inspected and found to be in complete accordance with the contract therefor,, NOW, TH—V,PEFORE, BE IT ORDAI�73D BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF FCRT WORTH, TEXAS, THAT: I. The improvements on each of the portions of streets, avenues and public places hereinabove described be, and they are hereby, accepted; and the contract with re- ference thereto be, and it is hereby, found and declared fully completed and performed. Ii. The Mayor, be, and he is hereby, directed to issue and execute in the name of the City, certificates in evidence of the special assessments levied against abutting property and the owner thereof for such improvements, and the City Secretary is directed to attest same and impress thereon the corporate seal of the City, all in accordance with the proceedings relating to such improvements and assessments. The certificates shall be numbered, shall describe the property against which the assessment has been levied, shall, where known, state the name or names of the true owners of the respective parcels of pro- perty assessed and shall be issued in an amount equal to the difference between the principal amount of the assessment and the amounts of any credit issued thereon. The numbers of the certificates, with the property descriptions to be shown on the respective certifi- cates, to,-ether with the names of the owners of sai-I property, the principal amount of the assessment, the respective credits, if any which are hereby authorized, granted and allowed against the principal amount of some one or more of the assessments heretofore levied, and the principal amount for which each certificate is to be issued after giving effect to such credit, if any, are hereby enumerated and itemized as follows: I fit. When each of the certificates has been duly executed as hereinabove provid- ed, same shall be delivered to the Tax Assessor-Collector as part payment of the contract price. IV. The City Secretary is hereby directed to engross and enroll this ordinance by copying the caption of same in the Minute Book of the City Council of Fort Worth, Texas, and by filing the complete ordinance in the appropriate Ordinance Records of said City. V. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
