Call to Order With a quorum of the board members present, President Flores called the meeting of the Crime Control and Prevention District Board (CCPD) of Directors to order at 2:13 p.m., on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, in the City Council Conference Room 2020, Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas. II. Approval of Minutes — June 22, 2021 Motion was made by Director Bivens and second by Director Crain to approve the minutes of the June 22, 2021, meeting. Motion passed 8-0 (Director Williams absent). IIL Written Reports A. FY 2021 3`a Quarter Performance Report on Activities and Finances B. FY 2022 Community Based Programs Funding Status Updates IV. Staff Reports/Presentations A. Presentation on Format and Procedures for Quarterly Performance Report — Isaac Robles, Police Research & Planning B. Br•iefing on the Role of Neighborhood Patrol Officers — Chief Neil Noakes Page 1 of 3 CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS AUGUST 17, 2021 Page 2 of 3 Jay Chapa, Deputy City Manager, advised that Chief Noalces would schedule a meeting with Director Jared Williams since he requested this information. V. Action Items A. Consideration of FY2022 Community Based Program Funding Recommendations — Keith Moi7is, Police Fiscal Command Motion was made by Director Parlcer and second by Director Crain to approve the FY2022 Community Based Program Funding Recommendations. Motion passed 8-0 (Director Williams absent). B. Consideration of the FY2022 Recommended CCPD Budget in the Amount of $94,935,970.00 (PUBLIC HEARING) President Flores opened the public hearing. i. Staff Report (Chief Neil Noalces) Chief Noalces provided an oveiview of the CCPD budget. ii. Public Presentations: None iii. Action Motion was made by Director Crain and seconded by Director Bivens that the public hearing be closed and approve the FY 2022 Recommended CCPD budget in the amount of $94,935,970.00 as presented. Motion passed 8-0 (Director Williams absent). VI. Public Comments Tamera Hutcherson addressed the board regarding the CCPD budget. VII. Board Requests for Future Agenda Items and/or Reports Director Parlcer requested staff provide updates on use of Narcan in the City and S WAT demographics. VIII. Adjourn With no further presentations or discussions, President Flores adjourned the meeting of the Fort Worth Crime Control and Prevention Board of Directors at 3:23 p.m., on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.
