Call to Order With a quorum of the board members present, President Betsy Price called the meeting of the Crime Control and Prevention District Board (CCPD) of Directors to order at 2:06 p.m., on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, in the City Council Chambers, Fort Woi�th City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas. II. Election of Of�cers Motion was made by Vice President Shingleton and second by Director Jordan to nominate Betsy Price as President. Motion passed 8-0 (Allen Gray absent) Motion was made by Vice President Shingleton and second by Director Bivens to nominate Jungus Jordan as Vice President. Motion passed 8-0 (Allen Gray absent) III. Approval of Minutes — August 25, 2020, August 18, 2020, and April 7, 2020 Motion was made by Vice President Jordan and second by Director Byrd to approve the minutes from August 25, 2020, August 18, 2020, and Apri17, 2020. Motion passed 8-0 (Allen Gray absent) IV. Written Reports A. FY 2020 4t�' Quarter Performance Report on Activities and Finances B. FY 2022 Community Based Programs C. Consideration of the 2021 CCPD Board Proposed Calendar — Jay Chapa Motion was made by Director Byrd and second by Director Shingleton to adopt the proposed 2021 CCPD calendar of ineetings: February 16, 2021 May 1 l, 2021 August 17, 2021 August 24, 2021 (if needed) November 9, 2021 Motion passed 9-0. B. Consideration of the FY2021 Budget Amendment to Increase Funding in the Equipment, Technology, and Infrastructure Initiative by $288,000 to Fund Replacement Tasers and New Tasers for Recruits. (PUBLIC HEARING) President Price opened the Public Hearing. a. Staff Report was presented by Deputy Chief Michael Shedd b. Public Comments — There were no comments Motion was made by Director Moon and second by Director Shingleton to close the public hearing and approve the FY 2021 budget amendment to increase funding in the Equipment, Technology, and Infrastructure Initiative by $288,000 to Fund Replacement Tasers and New Tasers for Recruits.
