Call to Order With a quorum of the board members present, President Betsy Price called the meeting of the Crime Control and Prevention District Board (CCPD) of Directors to order at 1:34 p.m., on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, in the City Council Chambers, Fort Worth City Hali, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas. II. Written Renorts A. Programs Considered to be Crime Control versus Crime Prevention There were no questions or comments. III. Action Items A. Consideration of FY2021 Recommended CCPD Budget in the Amount of $86,570,462.00 (PUBLIC HEARING (Director Allen Gray was away from the meeting from 1:44 — 1:58 pm) President Price opened a public hearing, a. Staff Report Chief Edwin Kraus provided the staff report. He noted the changes to the CCPD budget where programs/ funding had been moved to the General Fund and where there were increases in the CCPD budget for programs. Public Hearing The following individuals addressed the CCPD Board regarding the budget; Anastasia Taylor Zachary Jacobus Tara Wilson c. Action Motion was made by Director Jordan and second by Director Byrd to close the public hearing and approve the FY 20201 Recommended CCPD budget in the amount of $86,570,462.00 with the addition of funding for an additional recruit class in the amount of $1,000,000 from fund balance. Motion passed 9-0. V. Citizen Comments There were no Citizen Comments. VI. Board Requests for Future A�enda Items and/or Reports There were none. VII. Adiourn With no further presentations or discussions, President Price adjourned the meeting of the Fort Worth Crime Control and Prevention Board of Directors at 2:13 p.m., on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, These minutes approved by the Fort Worth Crime Control and Prevention District Board of Directors on the l Oth day of November, 2020.
