I. Call to Order
With a quorum of the board members present, President Price called the meeting of the Crime
Control and Prevention District Board (CCPD) of Directors to order at 2:05 p.m., on Tuesday,
November 12, 2019, in the City Council Conference Room 290, Fort Worth City Hall,
200 Texas Street, Foi�t Worth, Texas.
II. Approval of Minutes from Meetin� — Au�ust 20, 2019
Motion was made by Director Allen Gray and seconded by Director Jordan to approve the minutes
of the August 20, 2019, regular meeting of the Crime Control and Prevention District Board of
Directors. The motion passed 8-0 (Bivens absent).
III. Written Reports
a. FY 2019 4th Quarter Performance Report on Activities and Finances
There were no questions.

IV. Staff Presentations
a. Overview of Fort Worth ISD After School Program
Miguel Garcia with the Foi-� Worth ISD, Dr. Tei�y King, Fort Worth ISD and Dr. Tatia Prieto,
Prismatic Services, Inc. gave a report on the 2018-2019 Fort Worth After School program.
Director Moon left the meeting (2:30pm)
b. Police Facilities Update
This item wili be brought back at a later date.
V. Action Items
A. Consideration of FY 2020 Budget Amendment to Increase Funding in the
Recruitment and Training Initiative by $2,748,176 to Fund recruit Class 149
(PUBLIC HEARING)
a. Staff Report
Christianne Simmons presented a proposed budget amendment to increase funding for Recruit
Class 149. The funding is cunently available in fund balance.
b. Public Hearing
President Price opened the Public Hearing. There were no speakers on this item
c. Action
Motion was made by Director Byrd and second by Director Jordan to close the Public Hearing and
approve FY 2020 Budget amendment to increase funding in the Recruitment and Training
Initiative by $2,748,176 to fund Class 149. Motion passed 8-0. (Moon absent)
(Director Moon returned 2:55)
B. Consideration of Resolution Ordering CCPD Renewal Election
Assistant City Manager Jay Chapa presented the recommendation for the CCPD renewal election
for May of 2020 with a time period of 10 �ears and to continue with the District's one-half cent
sales tax for the same period.
Motion was made by Director Jordan and second by Director Allen Gray to approve Resolution
CCPD-2019-01 calling for an election to be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020, on the continuation

of the Fort Worth Crime Control and Prevention District for Tem (10) yeas and continuation of
the District's one-half cent sales tax for ten (10) years. Motion passed 8-1, (Zadeh opposed)
C. Consideration of FY 2020 CCPD Board Proposed Calendar
Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 2:OOpm
Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 2:00 pm
Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 2:00 pm
Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 2:00 pm (if needed)
Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 2:00 pm
Motion was made by Director Shingleton and second by Director Allen Gray to approve the 2020
CCPD Board Calendar as presented. Motion passed 9-0.

Director Flores — makeup of the CCPD Boards in our comparison cities.
IX. Adiourn
With no further presentations or discussions, President Price adjourned the meeting of the Fort
Woi�th Crime Control and Prevention Board of Directors at 3;09 p.m., on Tuesday,
Novembet• 12, 2019.

Directors on the 4th day of February, 2020.
