BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF FMT WMTH: Section 1. That the following, described territory within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Worth is hereby discontinued as a part of the City of Fort Worth and said tract of land is described by metes and bounds as follows: BEING a tract of land about eighteen miles northeast from the Courthouse of Tarrant County, Texas, and lying in and including all or part of the A. Barnard, W. Simpson, and J.W. Thomas Surveys, and being more fully described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the present city limit line of the City of Fort Worth, said point being the intersection of the south right-of-wary line of State Highway No. 183 with the Dallas-Tarrant County line; THENCE north, along the present city limit line of the City of Fort Worth, the Dallas-Tarrant County line, to its intersection with the south line of the P. Bacus Survey; THENCE west, along the present city limit line of 1he City of Fort Worth, the south lines of the P. Bacus Survey and the I. Crowley Survey, to the point of intersection with the City of Euless city IJ#,it line; THENCE south, west, south, west a nd south along the present city limit lines of the City of Fort 141orth, and the City of Euless to the point of intersection with the north rJght-of-way line of State Highway No. 183; THENCE continuing south along the east right-of-way of County Road No. 3011 produced south to its intersection with the south right- of-way, line of State Highway No. 183; THENCE east along a city limit line of the City of Euless to the place of beginning and cont4ining approximately 2.718 square miles. Section 2. That this ordinance shall,, and does hereby amend every prior ordinance in conflict herewi4i, and more particularly this ordinance expressly amends Ordinance No. 3873, heretofore adopted and passed on July 15, 1963, but as to all other ordinances or sections of ordinances not in direct conflict herewith this ordinance shall be and is hereby made cumulative. ff Section 3. If any section, subsection or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, the portion so held to be invalid or unconstitutional shall not affect any other part of the ordinance, which shall remain in full force and effect. Section 4. This ordinance, after it has been duly passed, shall be entered as an order on the minutes and permanent records of the City of Fort Worth, from and after the date of its entry, the territory hereinbefore described shall cease to be a part of the City of Fort Worth. Section 5. That this Ordinance shall become effective and shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, and it is so ordained. Passed and adopted this day of 1963.
