AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING A PORTION OF THE
BASEMENT ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF LOT 11, BLOCK 2,
WEDGWOOD ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TAR-
RANT COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION
OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID
LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described portion of the easement
along the north line of Lot 11, Block 2, Wedgwood Addition to
the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same
is hereby extinguished, vacated, closed and permanently
abandoned as an easement for public utilities:
Beginning at a point in the northwest right of
way line of Wheaton Drive, said point being 10 feet
southwest from the east corner of Lot 11, Block 2,
Wedgwood Addition, as recorded in Vol. 388-3, page
93, of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas;
Thence northwest along a line parallel to and
10 feet southwest from the northeast line of said
Lot 11, Block 2, Wedgwood Addition, 51 feet to the
beginning of the tract to be abandoned;
Thence northeast along a line parallel to and
51 feet northwest from the southeast line of said
Lot 11, Block 2, Wedgwood Addition, a distance of
5 feet;
Thence northwest along a line parallel to and
5 feet southwest from the northeast line of said
Lot 11, Block 2, Wedgwood Addition, a distance of
13.8 feet;
Thence southwest along a line parallel to and
64.8 feet northwest from the southeast line of said
Lot 11, Block 2, Wedgwood Addition, a distance of
4 feet;
Thence northwest along a line parallel to and 9
feet southwest from the northeast line of said Lot
11, Block 2, Wedgwood Addition, a distance of 23.9
feet;
Thence southwest along a line parallel to and
88.7 feet northwest from the southeast line of said
Lot 2, Block 11, Wedgwood Addition, a distance of
1 foot to a point 10 feet southwest from the north-
east line of said Lot 11, Block 2, Wedgwood Addition;
Thence southeast along a line parallel to and
10 feet southwest from the northeast line of said
Lot 11, Block 2, Wedgwood Addition, a distance of
37.7 feet to the place of beginning of the tract
to be abandoned.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said easement above described is hereby re-
leased and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as
provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
