Report of the City Manager -David Cooke, City Manager a . Upcoming and Recent Events City Manager Cooke announced that Item 9 on this agenda was inadvertently listed . This item is scheduled to be on the April 4th Work Session Agenda. b. Organizational Updates and Employee Recognition(s) City Manager Cooke called on William Johnson to introduce Lauren Prieur as the new Transportation and Public Works Director. She is the first woman to fill this po sition for the City of Fort Worth. City Manager Cooke called on Dianna Giordano to introduce Holly Moyer as the new Assistant Director for Human Resources. City Manager Cooke called on Lauren Prieur to recognize the Transportation and Public Works team that received the award from FEMA National Flood Insurance Program Community Rating System. City Manager Cooke called on Dave Lewis to make the announcement that Bunche Park received the Lone Star Legacy Park designation. c. Presentation on Alliance Economic Impact-Mike Berry, Hillwood Presentation was given by Mike Berry. 5. Update on Tarrant Area Food Bank-Victor Turner, Neighborhood Services; and Julie Butner, Tarrant Area Food Bank Council Member Williams recused himself from discussion on this item due to his employment. Presentation was given by Victor Turner , Neighborhood Services , and Julie Butner, Tarrant Area Food Bank. 6. Briefing on Commercial Development Study -Dana Burghdoff, City Manager's Office and Travis Clegg, Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth Presentation was given by Dana Burghdoff, Assistant City Manager, and Travis Clegg of the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth . Presentation on Proposed Tax Abatement Agreement with Carhartt Inc. - Cherie Gordon, Economic Development Presentation was given by Cherie Gordon, Eco nomic Development. 8. Presentation on FY22 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report/ Year-end Results -Reginald Zeno, Financial Management Services and Tony Rousseau, Financial Management Services Presentation was given by Reginald Zeno and Tony Rousseau of Financial Management Services. 9. Community Engagement Office Update -Reyne Telles, City Manager's Office; Michelle Gutt and Amethyst Sloane, Communication and Public Engagement No presentation at this meeting. This will be covered at the April 4 , 2023, Work Session. 10. City Council Requests for Future Agenda Items and/or Reports Council Member Nettles requested a presentation on Marijuana possession as a follow -up to the Decriminalizing Marijuana report including impacts changing the policy of cite and release from 2 ounces to 4 ounces. Mayor Pro tern Bivens requested an overview of all street lights with a complete list of street light improvements completed. Council Members Crain, Blaylock, Williams and Beck requested a follow-up briefing on progress of items of concern resulting from the Commercial Development Study including an update on inspectors, the steps required to create the "one stop shop" and best practices relating to organizational structure from other cities and options for process improvements with the Fort Worth organizational structure. Council Member Flores requested a report on feasibility of implementing improved street light technology capable of assisting in the triangulation of gunfire. Council Member Beck requested further information on procedures on Police officers following CPis or triggering events, a list of triggering events and the resources available to assist them following an event. Council Member Nettles requested an Informal Report with a listing of all Council Proposals that have been presented to Council in the last 10 years.
