HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 6344 , - ORDINANCE NO, 3 dl AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NU- 30l1 , BEING AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND TO RESTRICT THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, AND LAND FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCES, OR OTHER PURPOSES; THE HEIGHT, NUMBER OF STORIES AND SIZE OF BUILDING; AND OTHER STRUCTURES: THE SIZE OF YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES; OFF-STREET PARK"NG AND LOADING AND THE DENSITY OF POPULATION; AND FOR SAID PURPOSES T0 DIVIDE THE MUNICIPALITY INTO DISTRICTS OF SUCH NUMBER, SHAPE AND AREA AS MAY BE DEEMED BEST BY FIXING OEFlMlTE US�ES OF THE BUILDINGS HEREINAFTER ERECTED IN SAID DESCRIBED AREAS FROM THE USES AS SHOWN ON THE MAPS CONTAINED IN SAID ORDINANCE N0. 3011 ; PRE- SCRIBING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A FINE OF NOT LESS THAN $5.00 NUR MORE THAN $200.00 FOR EACH OFFENSE, AND THAT EACH DAY THAT A VIOLATION I5 PERMITTED T0 EXIST SHALL CONSTITUTE A SEPARATE OFFENSE, AND NAMING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. They have been designed to lessen congestion in the streets/ to secure safety from fire, panic, flood and dangers; to provide adequate light and air; to prevent overcrowding of land; to avoid undue cuncentra1ion of population; to facilitate the adequate provisions of transportation, water, sewer-age, parks and other public require- merits. SECTION 3, This ordinance shall be cumulative of all other ordinances of the City of Fort Worth affecting zoning and shall not repeal any of' the prmv�siony of said ordinances except in those instances where provisions of those ordinances are in direct conflict with the provisions of this ordinance. SECTION 4, Should any section` clause or provision of this ordinance be declared by the court to be in- valid, the same shall not uffeot the val10ty of the ordinance as a whole or any part thereof, other than the part so declared ta be invalid. SECTION 5 Any person, firm or corporation who 00mtes, 6subeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not 'less than Five and Nu/lQO Dollars ($5.00) nor more than Two Hundred and No/108 Dollars ($200.00) for each offense. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. SECTION 6. This ordinance will take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as required by law.
