AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE UNNAMED STREET SITU- ATED IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF THE NORTH LINE OF LOT 17, BLOCK 14, MEADOWBROOK HILLS ADDITION, IN THE W. J. BAKER SURVEY, SAID STREET BEING 50. 5 FEET IN WIDTH AND 103. 95 FEET, MORE OR LESS, IN LENGTH AND EX- TENDING FROM THE CUL-DE-SAC AT THE NORTH END OF WARRINGTON COURT ON THE WEST END OF THE UNNAMED STREET TO AN EXTENSION OF THE EAST LINE OF SAID LOT 17, BLOCK 14, MEADOWBROOK HILLS ADDITION, ON THE EAST END OF THE UNNAMED STREET, AS SHOWN ON THE PLAT OF MEADOWBROOK HILLS ADDITION RECORDED IN VOLUME 388-44, PAGE 29, OF THE PLAT RECORDS OF TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, BE VACATED, ABANDONED, AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS : SECTION 1. That the unnamed street situated immediately North of the north line of Lot 17, Block 14, Meadowbrook Hills Addi- tion, in the W. J. Baker Survey, said street being 50. 5 feet in width and 103. 95 feet, more or less, in length and extend- ing from the cul-de-sac at the north end of Warrington Court on the west end of the unnamed street to an extension of the east line of said Lot 17, Block 14, Meadowbrook Hills Addi- tion on the east end of the unnamed street as shown on the Plat of Meadowbrook Hills Addition recorded in Volume 388-44, Page 29, of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same is hereby closed, abandoned, and permanently vacated SECTION 2. That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee to the land in said street is hereby released and shall re- vert to the adjacent owners of the fee as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. A preliminary plat (S-72-11) for a proposed unified residential development on land adjoining sib Ject right-of-way was approved by the City Plan Commission Worm April 26, 1972. The approved preliminary plat showed Warrington Court terminating in a cul-de-sac. This treatment of Warrington Court was in accord - ance "with Cit Plan Commission requirement that there te no occess to the south via said street. A satisfactory replat, including necessary easements has been submitted by the applicant. The City Plan CommIssion has reviewed this request and recommends adoption of an ordinance vacating the public right-of-way as requested. Necompmendat lion It is recommended that an ordinanne te adopted vacoting subject right-of-way as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
