AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING A PORTION OF THE STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF BRENTWOOD-STAIR ROAD, ADJACENT TO TRACT 10 OF THE D. M. HELMS SURVEY, A LENGTH OF APPROX- IMATELY 90' ; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDIN- ANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the hereinafter described street right-of-way on the South side of Brentwood-Stair Road, adjacent to Tract 10 of the D. M. Helms Survey, be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as a right-of-way for street purposes, said abandoned right- of-way being more particularly described as follows: A tract which embraces that portion of Brentwood- Stair Road which is just north of a tract in the D. M. Helms Survey, Abstract No. 812 described in the deed to J. G. Gearheart recorded in Volume 3388, Page 121 of the Tarrant County Deed Records and a line 10 feet southerly from and parallel to the face of the south curb of said road. Beginning at the northwest corner of said Gearheart tract in the east line of Lot 6-R in Block 8 of Brentwood Hills, an Addition to the City of Fort Worth as said lot appears upon the map recorded in Volume 388-101, Page 30 of said Deed Records; THENCE north no degrees 02 minutes east, along said east line of Lot 6-R, a distance of 30-45/100 feet to the northeast corner of said lot being 10 feet southerly at right angle from the face of the south curb of Brentwood-Stair Road; THENCE easterly 10 feet southerly from and parallel to said face of curb along a curve to the left with a radius of 2034 feet, a distance of 90-2/10 feet; and the chord of said 90-2/10 feet arc is south 86 degrees-10-1/2 minutes east 90-2/10 feet; THENCE south no degrees-02 minutes west 18-7/10 feet to the northeast corner of said Gearheart Tract and the northwest corner of the tract de- scribed in the deed to W. R. Owen recorded in Volume 3412, Page 674 of said Deed Records; THENCE along the north line of said Gearheart Tract: south 85 degrees-17 minutes west 85-5/10 feet; and north 75 degrees-03 minutes west 5 feet to the place of beginning and containing 2253 square feet. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described street right-of-way is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owners as provided by law, SAVE and EXCEPT that easements are reserved therein for any and all existing utilities. SECU ON 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4.
