CITY OF FORT WORTH ORDINANCE NO. .3 I An. ordinance passed concurrently by the City Councils , respectively, of the Cries of Dallas and Fort Worth amending the Seventh Supplemental Regional Airport Concurrent Bond Ordinance passed concurrently on October 20, 1976 by the City Councils, respectively, of the Cities of Dallas and Fort Worth; ordaining other natters incident and relating to the subject and purpose hereof; and declar- ing an emergency. WHEREAS, the City Councils , respectively, of the Cities of Dallas and Fort Worth on October 20, 1976 con- currently passed the Seventh Supplemental Regional Airport Concurrent Bond Ordinance authorizing among other things the authorization, issuance and sale of the Dallas-Fort Worth Regional Airport Joint Revenue Refunding Bonds , Series 1976, in the aggregate principal amount of $93, 500, 000 ; and T,1'FISREAS, Section 3 . 1 of said Seventh Supplemental Regional Airport Concurrent Bond Ordinance which sets forth the purpose for which said Bonds are being issued, to-wit to refund certain Dallas-Fort Worth Regional Airport Joint Revenue Bonds, incorrectly allocated the numbers of the bonds being issued to refund each particular series of bonds ; and MIEREAS, it is deemed necessary and desirable that said Section 3. 1 be amended to restate the numbers of the bonds; and WHEREAS, the City Councils have each found. and determined as to each that the matters to which this Ordi- nance relates are matters of imperative public need and necessity in the protection of the health, safety and morals the principal of and the interest on the Series 1968 Bonds on the date the Series 1976 Bonds are delivered to the purchasers thereof, the redemption dateifor the Series 1968 Bonds , (ii) to provide funds , together with other lawfully available funds , to pay the principal of and the interest on the Series 1973 Bonds on Decem- ber 1, 1976, the r'edemption date for the Series 1973 Bonds , (iii) to provide funds to pay the principal of the aforementioned Series 1970A Bonds, the redemption prem- ium thereon, and the interest thereon to November 1, 1981, the redemption date for said Series 1970A Bonds, and (iv) to provide funds to pay the expenses incurred in the issuance, sale and delivery of the Series 1976 Bonds. The Series 1976 Bonds are issued as Refunding Bonds pursuant to and as permitted by the 1968 Ordinance, and shall be on a parity with the Outstanding Bonds remaining outstanding. Section 1. 2. The terms and provisions of the Seventh Supplemental Regional Airport Concurrent Bond Ordi- nance other than . expressly amended herein shall remain in. full force and effect. Smith with the following absent: None, constituting a quorum, at which time the following , among other business , was transacted: Councilman Blackburn introduced an ordinance and moved its passage . The motion was seconded by Councilman Smith. The motion was carried unanimously. The Ordinance as adopted is as follows : THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF TARRANT CITY OF FORT WORTH On the 8th day of November, 1976, the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas , convened in Regular meeting with the following members present, to-wit : Clif Overcash, Mayor Joe Bruce Cunningham, Jim Bradshaw, John J. O 'Neill, Hugh Partner, Woodie W. Woods, Councilmen, Richard C. Newkirk, Henry A. Meadows , Margret Rimmer, Rodger N. Line, City Manager, S. G. Johndroe, Jr. , City Attorney, Jack W. Ordinance Amending the Seventai 14UMB Supplemental Regional Airport Concurrend IVO, 11/8/76 G-3218 on Ordinance No. 7431" dopt 4Ld. 1 of October 2 76 Ordinance No. 7431 contained the numbers of bonds allocated to each series being refunded. It has now been determined that a restatement needs to be made of the numbers of bonds allocated to each series being refunded. Recommendation It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted amending Ordinance No. 7431, passed by the Council on October 20, 1976.
